Simon learns to share

Simon has a habit of getting comfy in Taylor's chairs. This time she decided to join him! It was so funny to watch him try to squirm out of under her!

Easter

Happy Easter! Today we had some of our friends over for a wonderful Easter dinner. Everyone brought some of the meal and it was all so good! Afterwards, Taylor got to enjoy another egg hunt in the front yard in the wonderful weather. We also captured some cute moments of Taylor and Kinley playing in the grass. The girls are so sweet together! I can't wait to see them running around chasing each other soon! I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend.

Playground

Taylor and Mommy really enjoy walking down to the playground and having fun. Taylor is getting really good at going down the slides by herself.

A Beautiful Day

We had a wonderful day on Friday. The weather was gorgeous so Taylor and Mommy met up with Daddy and Mimi at Market Street to have some ice cream and then hang out on the "green". There were lots of people out enjoying the holiday and nice weather. Taylor had so much fun running around with the other kids and checking out all the water fountains. After she had her fill, Mimi took her home and Mommy & Daddy got to have a date night at Jasper's. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed a really good meal. I'm so glad spring is here!!

Just Chillin'

Taylor has found a 'cool' new place to hang out. We practically have to drag her out of the fridge when she gets in there!

Another Easter Egg Hunt

Today our neighborhood had an Easter Egg Hunt at our park. There were lots of kiddos there! They let the 0-2 yr olds go first but really only gave us a 2 minute head start before they let the older kids run after us. We hadn't even reached the eggs yet! But it didn't take long for Taylor to figure it out and go after the eggs. She's so funny how she carries her basket on her arm too. (She does the same thing with purses)And, of course, you can tell from the picture with the Easter bunny that she's much more interested in the candy in the basket than the bunny!

Rodeo!!

Eric and I took Taylor to her first Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo on Friday. We had lots of fun seeing all the animals (live animals!). Taylor had so much fun watching the pig races, looking at the bunnies, and going through the petting zoo. It was really neat to watch the recognition come over her face when she realized the bunnies she was looking at were alive (not stuffed and could hop on their own.) Then at the petting zoo she would wave to each animal she came to and say "hi." Only then would she pet them. It was like she needed to introduce herself before she could pet them! What a sweet little girl!
