Time flies!

Wow! So much has happened since our last post! We got home from England safely (after an exhausting 10 hour flight with a 10 month old). Actually Taylor was great and slept for about 6 hours on the plane. The tiring part was being up for 24 hours by the time we got home and in bed. We had a wonderful time in England though and hope to go back soon. We would like to see more of London since we only spent part of a day there. We did go to Bath one day and saw the old Roman Baths. That was pretty neat to see.
After our trip we stayed busy right up through Thanksgiving. Becky came from Atlanta to stay with us for the weekend. We went spent the holiday at Eric's grandparent's house and then Taylor got to spend two nights with her Mimi and Jojo. Rachel and Becky went to watch A&M BTHO t.u. while Eric went to the farm with his grandfather.
So far in December we have been going and going with Christmas parties and such. We also had Taylor's 1st Birthday party on the 13th. We held it a week early since we're flying to see my sister and the rest of the family on her actual birthday. She had lots of fun playing with her friends and eating chocolate cake! The party was lots of fun. Here are some pictures from the last month. Enjoy!

Pictures from England

Here are the pigs on Nailey Farm, a cute Taylor, Stonhenge, and Big Ben.

Pictures from London

Here are some of the pictures we took in London.

Our trip to England

We're in England right now. We are staying on a farm that has three cottages for vacationers. It's called 'Nailey Cottages'. The farm is about two miles from the town of Marshfield, which is between Bristol and Bath. Bristol is a pretty large city on the west coast of England. It is absolutely beautiful here!! The English countryside is just gorgeous. Rolling hills, small country lanes, and hedges and stone walls to border everything. We went to Stonehenge on Sunday. It was a neat place to see. I do have to say it looks smaller in person than you would imagine. Yesterday(Monday) we took a day trip to London. It was about a 1 1/2 hour drive each way. Of course, with us, you have to double that since we tend to take wrong turns on the roundabouts and roads just don't run in a straight line here. Eric has done really well with driving us around on the left side of the road and just so you know, escalators are on the left side system as well! We took a double decker bus tour in London so we could see everything fairly quickly. We also took the Tube (subway). We'll post more pictures as we get them but here are a few from what we've done so far. Enjoy!

10 months!!!

Taylor is 10 months old today! She's such a good little girl and so sweet to be around. Today we went to her swimming lesson and then met up with my friend Laurie to eat lunch and then go to a Showcase of Homes. We also went out to dinner tonight and Taylor was a great sport through all of it! At 10 months she can walk around while holding onto furniture, clap her hands (a new favorite), walk while pushing her walker, say Mama, Dada, gog (dog), duck (kind of), and cat (she whispers it). She loves to drop things (especially her pacifier) and say, "Uh-oh!" and have you pick it up or better yet hold her upside down so she can pick it up. She gives lots of good kisses and waves "bye bye." Taylor's very interested in the grass and will pick a bare spot in the yard if you let her. I'm sure she does lots more cool stuff that I'm not thinking of right now (like floating on her own in the pool) so I'll just have to update this later. The pictures are of her and her daddy at dinner tonight.

Happy Halloween...early!

Here's a preview of Taylor's Halloween costume. She's definitely our little pumpkin! She was a great model for us while they were taking her picture although she kept trying to eat the leaves :) She was also very proud of herself for standing up for so long.
